The UGC CARE List Archive is an independent, not-for-profit project that preserves historical records of journals that were included on the UGC CARE list. It provides searchable access to journal names, ISSNs, coverage years, and provenance notes.

Data is collected from a variety of sources: archived official PDFs, institutional postings, web archives, university library records, and community submissions. Each record includes provenance metadata where possible.
We strive for high accuracy but cannot guarantee perfection. Each entry has a confidence indicator and provenance. If you find an error, please send source documentation via the Contact page.
